Sure, I was a 9th-year RJ FO (300 CRJ PIC) with no recs, and on paper, I was the least qualified guy in my interview class.

Keep the faith! Just like everything else, hiring is cyclical. I don't think you're in danger of seeing Atlas only take military/cargo guys. Every class I've seen has always been a mix of backgrounds, and typically there's more RJ drivers than anything else. And for one thing, you have something the others don't - FA experience. That's not to say that sometimes good guys don't get called, but that happens everywhere. Keep after it!
