Except the left seat would then be open to all in seniority order (new category), and it would lead to a complete reshuffle. It would make perfect sense for anyone with the seniority to bid it, and displace to wherever they want after it goes away. Perfect play for anyone that can't get into another airplane they're senior enough for, but can't get into.

From a company standpoint, I can't see the logic. From our standpoint, I like the way you're thinking on this.
