As for what i said 'arbitration', I was mistaken. I was thinking mediation. A third party will not help us and drive us further apart as a group.
That third party mediator appointed by the National Mediation Board can be helpful. But that person, nor anyone else can compel either party what to do nor arbitrarily impose any contract. There is nothing for us to lose or fear in the process that has been set up for these negotiations. If the pilots vote down a TA, it goes back to the negotiators. If either MEC doesn't like the TA, it goes back to the negotiators. If the JNC and company can't get a TA, it goes nowhere until they get a TA. There is NO timeline.
