Absolutely, there are many things that need to be burned. The "call in policy" when your finished with a trip on reserve is awful. Finish a trip, and you haven't been notified, RELEASED, back to reserve.
There are so many things that need to change. Its particularly bad for the reserve guys.
As for what i said 'arbitration', I was mistaken. I was thinking mediation. A third party will not help us and drive us further apart as a group.
If they are going to make us call them, we need to have some sort of language in the contract that says after so many minutes on hold, we can assume that we are released. Or, they can adjust our time on duty and TAFB until we are actually released.
