I do believe he graduated #1 at the Air Force Academy and his roomate was #2. It was the first time in AFA history that the #1 and #2 graduates were pilots. He also graduated #1 at Georgia Tech law school. I hope he becomes President of Delta Air Lines.
Georgia Tech does not have a law school. Georgia State has an excellent program and my understanding is he did their program while an ERFO.
His classmates at the Air Force Academy say he did not like flying and that today he does not see himself as a pilot.
Why would you want him to be President of Delta? (Just curious, not suggesting he would be bad)
The Board has not selected an insider in quite some time.
In what little bit of time I have spent with him it seemed he thought the perfunctory velvet rope stuff was a waste of his time, and although nice, it probably was.
