Then there is North American which is in bankruptcy. They dumped all of their 757s leaving just 767s. A perfect acquisition for Atlas' emergence into 767 charter flying. However, they are owned by Global Aviation Holdings who owns World as well. Although World has 747s, they have MD-11s that I do not think would fit the Atlas mold well. Being in bankruptcy, anything could be possible here.

The leaders at Atlas are saying they are only interested in internal growth which means to me that they are looking at mergers. :roll eyes:

There just does not seem to be any perfect fits for Atlas, but almost anything can work at the right price.
