The only thing DAL gives us is the ability to ride in open seats that no one else bought....and a free meal and drinks if on the chance you get Biz/First.
But you pay nothing domestically. Ask the fNWA guys what they paid for a flight. Ask other airlines as well. Domestic is free except the 50 bucks. What you are paying on an international flight is/are government taxes and fees. Dal has never waived those.
Problem I see is they could change all of this tomorrow. It needs to be codified in the PWA.
