On the topic of other employees... I don't care what they think about my salary. From the day I was hired, they made me wear a black hat. Dont ever forget that you do too. In their eyes, you will ALWAYS be overpaid.

Delta pays super senior mammas 50k per year after tax to sling cokes 8 days every other month. I'll bet there are FA's with w2's that equal an md 88 copilot's. Our plight is not to be confused with our image among the other employee groups, many of whom don't plan to make a career here.
When I asked a Capt rep about a year ago if we could expect big raises he asked me "what would the other employee groups think?" to which I responded with an elevated voice "I don't care! They didnt seem to say much when I lost my pension!". ALPA will continue to try to manage expectations.
