Easy there Lefty, our own ranks include way too many pilots who cycled through a couple of majors before winding up here at NK. Being from a bankrupt carrier isn't a mark of shame; any of us could be there next month. If you have some info to back up the sarcasm please let us have it, but condemnation based upon being beaten up by the airline industry is out of line.
With that said, Spirit showed (again) a disrespect for out pilot group by failing to consider any of us for the position. If the CP really wants us to go the extra mile, he might want to consider treating us as equals instead of the major rejects/freightdogs/losers they apparently think us to be.
In a related issue, I'll bet that the new LAS CP will earn more than the seniority list holding FLL CP (who is reported to be going back to the line because of pay and work load)
