And as far as the Atlas Inflight Department goes, that's in IAH, correct? So IF they take NAA and the NAA crews, they'll need supervisory help in JFK, no?
Correctomundo...no they won't. You clearly don't understand the way Atlas operates.
You guys need to pull your head out of the sand. Organic growth won't cut it when you want to take big steps. You've said yourself that the training department is maxxed out getting rid of the classics and standing up the 767 program.
Um...no again. The training department is running full because we have bodies on the property to train before we dip into the pool or invite more into the pool.
Even SWA the penultimate "internal growth" organization bit the bullet and bought AAI. What makes you think Atlas management gives a darn about what pilots think/want. Having served in the Navy with your CP (if Mikey B is still there, that is!) I can attest to the fact that HE doesn't.
Um..nope again...Mikey departed the CP fix a couple of years back...and he was far enough down the food chain that his opinions on decisions to acquire additional assets were not considered.
You also seem to want to ignore the fact that Atlas has already approached Global about buying NAA in the past. Global told them if they wanted NAA they had to take World, too. Atlas didn't want anything to do with the MD-11s so rejected the deal.
Define "past."
This bankruptcy takes care of the MD-11 question and offers Atlas the passenger 744s and 767s they covet. Its too neat a package.
