I used to read that statement and think it was a slight exaggeration. I made a TON more money as a CFI.
I made a little more CFI'ing, and three times as much doing 135 charter. And actually felt like the companies enjoyed having me around.
Leaving 135 to come here was the biggest mistake I've made in my short career.
