Women in Aviation... sort of the woman version of OBAP, only from what I've seen in the real world over 20 years of flying is (at least white) women don't need any kind of hand up... most are rich captains' daughters or at least come from upper middle class families... the OBAP handouts usually go to some inner city thug who turned his life around and did it usually not only on his own, but against a lot of odds..
The number of white women who want to get into flying, and actually succeed is far out of proportion to the average population of straight white male pilots I'd be willing to bet.
Not saying I like either organizations, but at least the one has "some" reason to be asking for help from the HR departments at the airlines.
