Reason why? I'm 99% sure it's that lack of internal sponsor... On the one hand I understand the desire for an internal rec, and on the other hand I find it to be a horrible reality.
As stated previously, the influence of a sponsor at FedEx is much less important than it used to be. I attended the briefing on our new hiring process and from what I heard I would guess that you would be considered "overqualified." They mentioned a "sweetspot" of TT (Sorry I don't remember the numbers if they were given) along with the comment that "high PIC hours are a predictor of poor performance."
