It could be done easily in a differences course if there was a FAA approved one. Ditto DC9 to MD-88. Unfortunately there is none. Prior experience with hammer and chisel do help those new to the DC9, as does one of those math for pilot refreshers.

easily done?....Maybe your an exception but I would have to say absolutely not. Apples and oranges...Some switches look the same but that can bite you, they have different ways to be operated and different values. A differences course would be the same content and length as a full course.
