We are salaried and not paid by flight hour, so I don't think that is the case...at least not in my particular situation.

I really don't know much about regionals other than what I have read and discussed with friends...are they usually flexible when it comes to interview dates? Reason that I ask is that my current employer will not grant me any time off between now and my last day. So, if for some reason, I did indeed get an interview before my last day, would they be flexible with the date and allow me to interview after my last day at my current job? This was the main reason why I was postponing my application...but if they are flexible, then I will just go ahead and apply now to avoid any further delay.
