Try landing a 150,000+ airplane on a contaminated runway in a crosswind. A B1900 stops fairly quick when you throw the props into beta. It's not as simple in a jet.
I'm not knocking beech drivers, but I think you need to understand that just because it's a jet doesn't make it easier.
