Keep in mind that while you may be able to do this, your particular airline may or may not have a commuter clause in their contract. Some airline's contracts DO NOT cover you if you commute internationally, so you would have no protection if you were bumped, the flight(s) was canceled. In that case you could be looking at an unavailable for duty or using a sick call.
In any case, I would look at and/or ask about different companies contractual rules regarding international commuting. That's your best bet.
