It only takes about 2 minutes to check in on the Kiosk for those that know what they are doing and those that don't should plan on arriving with ample time anyway.
These little quirks bug me as much as you FTB.
Well, I can tell you that, for some reason I can never check in at the Kiosk but can check in on line. I like being able to check in from home and then go directly to the gate.
I venture to bet that those no show non-revs misconnected from somewhere.
