Check out Jacksonville University. The aviation program is housed by the college of business, so you end up with a business degree in addition to your flight training. Plus it has a huge variety of majors so you can take some pretty cool classes as electives. I know one of the aviation guys that is taking a glass-blowing class as an elective. The flight training is fantastic, and the fleet has great variety: Private in a Cessna 172, Instrument in a Cirrus SR-20, Commercial-Multi in a Piper Seminole, and Commercial-Single through CFII in the Cirrus SR-20 (with the exception of part of CFI that's in a Piper Arrow). Also Jacksonville University has a lot of scholarship opportunities. I got into both JU and Embry-Riddle when I was applying to schools, but chose to come to JU because it's about half the price. Even without a scholarship it's still significantly less (and better training in my opinion).
