ALPA was instrumental in helping furloughed United pilots secure jobs at G7 in 2008/2009. Why would the United MEC recommend their pilots find refuge at an airline they "barred"?
As I said, it was an honest question. The reason I asked is that a founder of a certain aviation forum (which I tried once, and didn't like it) said something to the effect that GJ could not be ALPA represented in the future-even if they wanted to be. I do not have the qoute to copy and paste, so we are relying soley upon my memory. Maybe I misunderstood him. Are you with GoJets?
