There will be some regional pilots that do not get hired at Delta, but most probably will. ALPA national would have to approve an agreement that DALPA signs making this happen. Like it or not, that opens ALPA to a DFR suit from the regional pilots. They can deny it as much as they want, but DALPA puts out very weak language when it comes to scope. The facts speak for themselves.
The scope that ASA/Expressjet ALPA pilot have any say over is ASA/Expressjet operated flying.
The scope that Comair ALPA pilots have any say over is Comair operated flying.
The scope that DELTA PILOTS have is flying that is DELTA coded flying*.
The Delta ALPA pilots are the ONLY pilot group who have a seat at the table with Delta Air Lines to provide pilot services.
The "conflict of interest" is a myth.
*except what we "permit" to be flown by non-Delta pilots
