And like I said, if we don't lower the number of allowable outsourced jets, we will never sunset DCI because not only will management never be able to pass up the opportunity to outsource 255 turbofan DC-9-10's, new technonogy will eventually lead to more efficient models even without GTF. There is an entire industry dedicated to designing and building "scope jets" and whatever we allow now will be maximized and shoved down our throats for decades to come.
All true. Point is that there are many ways to take what was written in the opener. Guys are freaking out about some of the word usage. It could have been better, but spelling this out dot for dot and dash for dash is not the best way to go about it.
Production Balances can mean many things. That is why I say, wait for an agreement, but keep reafirming your damnds of a contract that has positive gains in every section, with scope gains being a large part of that. I will wait to pass judgement on the product we are given to vote on. There is a very strong chance that the first agreement; if subpar, is voted down by the MEC and we never see it.
