Let's think back a short 20 years. I was building my retirement home as I got ready to leave the Air Force. Had to drive half a mile from the construction site to the Circle K and put a quarter in the pay phone to talk with anyone. Where was my cell phone? Ordering materials, text messages would be nice. Emails would help a bunch. Driving to Atlanta to get some materials for the house. Wish I could find that warehouse. Where is my dash mounted GPS?
Day off; looking for Tom Clancy's latest book. Guess I need to go the mall. Where is my Kindle/IPAD? Wife and I went out to dinner at the Officer's Club. Need to cash a check at the cashiers cage. (Mentioned this to our daughter-in-law: she asked "how do you cash a check and why would you cash a check?")
The list goes on and on of the new technologies that have been developed in just the past few years. Never say never!!!
