Is Republic the only Airline to offer you an interview/class date?
Out of all the places I have applied (Skywest, AirWisky, XJT, etc), they are the only ones that have given me an interview date.
I refuse to be a pathetic waste of life and sit on unemployment and contribute to all the problems our country already has. I want to go to another place so I don't have to worry about the new regs in 2013...
...and i'm certainly not going back to instructing...I've had enough of that!
I'll try not to discourage you too much, but the morale is really, really low right now. Contract expired in 2007 and honestly no clue when that will get accomplished. Basically at the mercy of the government and the NMB. I thoroughly enjoy almost everyone I fly with. Some great professionals here. A lot of changes have to be made here in order for me to recommend this place to anybody.
I think at some point this will be a good place to work again...it's a matter of when and at what cost.
