Sure it does. Without what we have in our contract, direct negotiations alone can take 3 to 4 years if it's to management's advantage to drag their feet. Then with the NMB taking a typical time of 29 months, that's how you get to that 5, 6 or more year point.

In our case, any delays will be just the time taken by the NMB. It's a huge difference for those who are intent on comparing our situation to AMR, USAirways, etc.
