RA would buy 777s in a heart beat, if and only if, it'd be more advantageous for DAL pilots to fly them. Right now, it appears DAL is more interested in JVs/Code Shares.
I should have been more specific. I meant from an airplane order standpoint. Of course he's buying used planes now. Theyre cheap. As are the 737-900ERs. So cheap that they're cash flow positive. Why order airplanes for high lease payments when GTF/light composite aircraft are on the way? The 767-300's will keep chugging along. As will MD90's, DC9's, etc.
