We just want to make sure that they know the realities before coming here. We know that guys that have been doing stalls with Chinese students with less than ideal english skills for really, really poor pay are desperate to move on to something better. What we don't want to see is someone give up that job, bypassing other hiring carriers, to come here then get furloughed in the fall because the summer schedule is over, or as a negotiating tactic, and be put in even worse financial hardship.
Guys,
I'm sad to say that what Weasel Boy says above is VALID information that should be considered before making your decision to come. I've personally experienced AND witnessed this airline furlough the bottom 120 to 150 pilots 3 out of the 4 previous years I've been here. Folks considering this airline, need to know that seasonal furlough's are a very real part of being employed here, simple as that.
On the topic of interview gouge, I would hope that those that have interviewed and have been hired would make that info available. I know its not much help but I do know that we are doing IOE next month on classes finishing up their training this month. Maybe those guys will put something here or the usual places we go for gouge. Wish I had better info but what I could tell you would be outdated stuff as I've been here 4 yrs. If I run onto anybody new I'll try to talk them onto posting their gouge here. Best of luck to those who apply!
