Did you read what Anderson said a couple weeks ago about Haneda? In case not, he basically said that the Government of Japan is going to allow JAL more flights in/out of HND...and since we don't have a code share partner over there, like AA and UAL, with JAL and ANA, we will be left out in the cold.

Sounded a lot like he wants some HND slots big time...so why do we need NRT if we get them? He could overfly Japan for some of the 'interport' destinations, and just serve HND from LAX and NYC and ATL.
