Not to worry...if you fly pointy-nose jets, have a sponsor, and meet the other prereqs, I would consider you HIGHLY competitive. Granted, I'm not the PhD or computer racking & stacking the apps, but everybody knows that "some PIC hours are more equal than others." Thanks for serving and defending the rest of us.
