Some people take the route of CFI not because they have to but because they chose to. That will always be respected and rewareded sooner or later. I'll admit I'm from a fortunate family. I could have paid 30-60K to one of these places to "buy" my job. However, there is certain self satifaction in actually earning what you receive. There will always be CFIs. Even higher time and experienced ones because sometimes taking the path most traveled feels much better than the one that's quick and easy.
I see it like a doctor. They all have to go through the long process of being an intern ect. before they make it somewhere. Would you really trust someone with your kid that found a way to buy themselves out of that learning exp?
