I'm not saying the TA will have to one I would "necessary" vote yes for right out of the gate or be thrilled about, but whatever DALPA presents to us for ratification will have to show that DALPA is at least "serious".

The DPA says they're about 1,500 from a vote and they're double checking their numbers via a renewal drive. My bet is of the 1,500 necessary to get to the magic vote number a percentage of that will say "I'll wait to the TA," like you mentioned will keep them from reaching the point of a DPA vote prior to the TA.
So if the TA comes out and the DPA is close to the number needed to force a vote, what happens?
