For reasons which will become apparent later in your career..

You want to log all sim received and sim instruction given in separate columns. Someone will be along soon to talk about how level C/D sims are the same as real airplanes, that's BS. You can even keep separate columns for FTD vs. full-motion sim if you like.

Do not mix sim and airplane time. Do not mix sim dual-given in with airplane dual-given time.

It's worth keeping track of sim dual-given because you might need or want a job as a sim instructor some day. Those jobs often pay decent wages and have decent QOL...you also don't need a medical to do it.
