That is one thing that is wrong with this company... There is no mutual respect between employee groups. If it weren't for the flight attendants we wouldn't be flying. Lack of mutual respect, lack of a shared goal and especially a lack of shared knowledge not only between management and the front line employees but all of the employee groups including dispatch, scheduling, all the way to communications with a gate agent is why we are in this mess. No one works together anymore. All this Menke says is that he is abiding by the contract. He passes his questions on to other board members because he lacks a knowledge of what is actually going on in the front line.
