Absolutely 100% true. Regionals are all outsourced work, working for crap wages that allows them to exist in the first place, as opposed to the majors. Once you understand the role regionals have (to fly by outsource tons of domestic flying for a cheap labor cost), then you will understand why I made those true statements.
