A trip rig is based upon your TAFB, ie a 3.5:1 trip rig applied to a 85 hour TAFB 4-day would equate to a minimum credit of 24:17.

It's not exactly a trip rig, but serves the same function: If the company leaves you in a hotel in Tulsa for 30 hours you still get paid something. I'm sure there are better trip rigs out there, but I was trying to explain exactly what you would get paid. In your example 4 calender days = 15 hours pay absolute minimum. It would be exceedingly rare for SKW to fly you less than 20-25 hours on a 4-day.
