It appears this a trend among most GoJet pilots that probably stems from the GoJet hiring process.

From what I've heard, a GoJet interview consists mainly of whether they like you or not, nothing else. You wont see much of a cognitive, sim or technical evaluation...

A GoJet interview compared to a Skywest interview is similar to a private pilot stage check compared to a CFI checkride.
There are some different characters, no doubt. Some are very strange, but a majority are good people and easy to work with.

I jump sat on another regional carrier once and the captain put on a pair of white gloves before push back. The airline in question is irrelevant, but my point is - there are weirdos at all of them.

You're right with that interview comparison. When I interviewed it was nothing more than a conversation and a finger flown approach. I think I described a system from an aircraft I had experience in, but that was it.

I've been told Skywests interview is much more detailed. They also have a better training program and pass rate as well.
