You are kidding right?
When I had my issue last year, I was as proactive as a pilot could possibly be. I was grounded until I got approval from the FAA and getting that situation rectified was by far my number one most important priority at the time. I left no stone unturned and did everything that I knew and was told to do ASAP. Dr. Faulkner ended up being by far the better option and got me back to work way faster.
I am glad it worked out. He is first rate.
Not sure what you're trying to say there.
What I am saying is telling someone to call in 12-24 months without setting up a method for proper documentation of the issue is not right. Take diabetes for example. They need a string of months which are recorded in days of blood sugar being within the normal band for them to even process a SI. Go out for even one reading and the clock generally starts over. That is why I see the give us a call in 12-24 as really stupid.
