Incorrect.Compass was created because NWA wanted to get around a scope clause in the pilot contract.NWA said they would allow a limited number of guys to fly these planes , as long as the CP would be able to flow up, but more importantly that NWA guys would be able to flow down and still have jobs in the event of a furlough situation. Fast forward, the flow is gone but Compass is still flying for Delta.
Fact: Compass has better pay rates.
It didn't always have 'better' pay rates.
