What's even worse is he's probably got flow through number.
He was hired after the date needed to be employed by to get the FT number, so this precious “snowflake” will have to interview like the rest of us. He was adamant that because he logs PIC time as an FO, is a Compass pilot (in his words Delta prefers Compass pilots more than any other) and he has "slat and engine under wing time" he’ll be hired long before a guy like me who has 7X+ more hours than he does, thousands of hours of legit RJ PIC time, over half a dozen internals and two college degrees.
BTW, the "engine under wing time" came up only when I asked him if he's ever seen a CR7 or CR9 (slats), that caused him to break into the “engine under wing time.” He said that Delta wants Slat and EUWT because that’s what they fly, my response was “ever seen a DC9 or MD88/90?”
My FO and I tried to stay quiet but we could only do it for so long. Needless to say he was very unhappy when he walked away.
