Its going to be hard finding qualified FOs to sit right seat after this rule when the minimums will be the same industrywide. They have no problem finding Captains, but who the hell is going to sit in the right seat? Hopefully they take some of the money they are dishing into the company and raise starting pay to make it worthwhile for people to remain in the right seat. Im anxious to see how the full transition to the Saab will affect the entire company.
I now do not see how they can fill FO seats if they grow like they predict. Pay raises and a signing bounus will be the only way come mid summer. I suspect it will get really interesting by late summer for several smaller airlines.
