Always been that way - although ATL (Mecca) still only tolerates the western US. Both LAX and SLC have that kind of culture (flown with a few ex-ATL CAs and it can be tough flying with them). Some day (
) DAL may figure out there is a whole country west of ATL (although not since I've been hired - ask Buzzpat how LAX is working out).
