It was the same at NWA before the merger.

You had guys who walked in off the prarie at 18 or 19, and were 727 captains in 4 years, and widebody captains in 8.

For those of us who got away from MSP, we often scratched our heads wondering if it was something in the water. It was some amusement, however, after the merger, to see those same people completely befuddled at the fact that the sun did not rise and set in the central time zone.
