They will get us to bargain for a status quo or even a shrinking fleet/headcount just for fleet replacement with smaller jets. I'm actually suprised they didn't come seeking concessions for the big 737-900ER order.
The concessions were built into that order. They seat the same as a 757 but pay less.
On a related note RA stated at the CA meeting that 717's are to expensive for now and Delta is looking at A319's. They are plentiful and cheap. Decision should be made by the end of the second quarter.
