If I'm ever furloughed again, I'll send captainmark my resume, he'll get me hired just because I'm black. Captainmark, will I have to go to the right seat or is there a direct to Captain minority program over there?
All I did was ask what it "should" look like over there. I'm not flaming you or baiting you, but would you prefer UAL's former hiring practices? Should a company like FedEx actively recruit low time/inexperienced pilots just to satisfy the EEOC? So FedEx doesn't "proactively" recruit minorities, should they? Should any airline? Is it wrong to ask any company to want a minimum level of experience out of an applicant? Do you have proof that they descriminate against them? Is there a problem with a minority getting the PIC, making contacts, finding a sponser, finding 3 letters of recommendation, having the sponser schedule the meet and greet, get the meet and greet, go with the sponsor to the meet and greet, and then wait by the phone for a call for interview?
Like you said, FedEx is the one of the best paying jobs right now, and consequently has a large application pool. If, and thats if, the legacies were to regain the pay/work rules lost, would FedEx fall off the radar for their hiring practices? Would minorities suddenly stop applying to FedEx and apply to the "glamourous" pax carriers instead?
You talked about entitlement before, as well as self-righteous self-pity. I'm sorry, but white males are not the only people that may have this problem.
