gloop i think youre right, two powers at play, Usair needing a fresh start and apa looking to screw amr.
but i dont pay attention much to the usair east/west debacle, because frankly reading their threads is like reading the 911 transcript of a domestic violence call about to turn into a double homicide. it makes a tsquare and carl argument look like pillow talk.
so run this by me again, america west takes over usair, keeps the name, runs it out of phx, now has an enormous foothold in NE market. SLI comes, east hates it, calls it a windfall, west wants it, right? east bolts to prevent implementation and its waiting a decision by the court. so its a battle of windfall vs binding arbitration? is that about right?
i hate to say it, binding arbitration should be
binding... until its a windfall. And I'll let the court figure that one out.
But the SLI doesnt just happen until the court rules (again) right?
