Let's just say that if the reins were ever jointly held, JP just let go entirely and the UAL-MEC is now steering the run away stage coach. What a weak, weasely, noncommittal bunch of lame double-talk. The FEAR that rules the L-CAL ranks has reached epidemic proportions as evidenced here by "co-workers" comments. L-CAL's management bound chair, "wordesqued" the responsibility to represent his baggage (history of and sympathy to picket line crossing) laden, walking wounded, forces back from the front for a breather, with appeals to every labor authority under the sun. Not a full blown retreat, but certainly calling for time out while feigning having been poked in the eye to a sympathetic ref, rather than on with any fight. I am starting to suspect he may be French.

Here's wishing everyone a happy summer, as line values exceed even that of balls out commuter schedules. Couldn't help but notice this morning's renewed call, a standing order for 737 junior manning until further notice. Hopefully everyone likes airports and hotels better than family and time off.

Not sure what you want here. A lap dog? Someone with no voice of their own? The problem is he is not the leader that YOU control and it scares the scat of of you. How dare anyone not follow and get in line behind ANY pilot leader at UAL. You need to remove your head before flight and see that both sides are coming together here. Or does that scare you even more? I'm beginning to think you are going to ***** and moan no matter what either side does or says.

You remind me of the Gordo pilot contract joke........Gordo holds a pilot meeting and tells each pilot they will each be paid $500,000 a year, have stellar work rules, and receive great benefits. All you have to do is work every Wednesday of the year. 2/3 of the pilot group collectively bemoan,
" What do you mean every Wednesday? ".
