I think if I were a CFI looking for time, I might lighten my instructor load and do some of this flying if it fit some of my requirements. X/C time, flying outside of my usual locales, a chance to network with people outside the usual circles, etc.....plus - - pancakes breakfasts!

Couldn't agree more not only that I'm sure it'll provide with more conversation material for future interviews than if you got the same hours just CFI'ing and boring holes in the sky.
