If you ever want to get out of being stuck in case, during juror selection, look over at the prosecutor and give them a thumbs up while winking.
Make sure the defense sees this and you'll be pulled from the jury before you know it.

I never get jury duty.
But my dad used to get it all of the time when we lived in Hampton but he was always the first sent home. They probably just didn't like the idea of having the white haired Navy Captain and Preacher dressed in a suit sitting on the jury.
