they are leaving out a detail or two. There was direct DTW-Amman, Jordon service on Royal Jordanian for a year or two, but I guess the market couldn't fill it. Now it goes DTW-Montreal-Amman.
Also, when we had JFK to AMM, we couldn't make it work, despite drawing from the New York area, DTW via an easy connection , and a pretty large contingent of US government contractors working in Iraq. I'd like to see AMM come back, but I'm not too hopeful
