This will NEVER happen. At least not unless you are willing to accept whatever terms UCH is willing to offer. But if that were true then you all would have had a CBA in place years ago. This also allows UCH to whipsaw us off each other ad infinitium into the future.
So unless we are happy working under our current respective contracts for the foreseeable future, a la USAir, then we all need to come to grip with the immutable fact that we have all "landed in the new world and Cortez burned the ships."
As a L-UAL guy I'm not particularly happy with how the last two years have played out but this merger will never be unwound. We are stuck with each other and there is only one way forward and no way to go back. With all due respect to your legacy and history there are no CAL pilots anymore, only UNITED pilots. The die is cast and we all need to move forward for the mutual benefit of every pilot on the property. Until then, we've given management all they need.
